A little about me...
David Deedwania is an award-winning composer, sound designer, and pianist, specializing in music and sound design for visual media. A pianist for over 20 years, he has been ever curious about the creation and overall community of music around the world since childhood. Primarily trained in classical and jazz disciplines, his main goals as a musician and composer have always been to move people through music and to make meaningful art through collaboration with other creative individuals. David took his passion for music to the university level. He attended the University of Southern California's Thornton School of Music, graduating in May of 2015 with a Bachelor of Science degree in the Music Industry program. During college he also began to seriously study composition and sound design for visual media, taking classes such as The History of Film Music and Its Function, Electronic Synthesizer Techniques, The Business of Music for Visual Media, and Video Game Composition. Since the beginning of his senior year at USC, David has composed the scores and served as Audio Lead for several independent films, animations, and video game projects. In the Fall of 2016, he began studying composition and orchestration privately, and continues to explore the works of great musicians and audio professionals to improve his craft.
Also in 2016, David fell in love with Virtual Reality, particularly in its potential for music and sound design. With several VR projects under his belt, he firmly believes that proper music and sound integration in a 3D environment is one of the best things you can do to make someone believe they are in another world.

I met David through a recommendation from a mutual audio design professor at USC who was my Master's thesis advisor. We collaborated on my MFA thesis "Inner Activity", where David played a key role as composer and interactive audio designer for a meditative virtual reality art installation.
